The class format is tailored to the students. It can be conducted in one session of 3 hours, two shorter back-to-back sessions, or in an expanded format of several longer sessions, depending upon the size of the group. (It can even be combined with consultation/coaching on projects currently going on in the school.) The business of T.V. acting is covered if it is pertinent to the group.

In the workshop, students work with basic exercises and material on camera. They then view the playback and get individualized coaching. Detailed analysis of voice, facial and body habits, and interpretation create the cornerstone of this workshop -- highlighting each student’s physical strengths, noting what blocks might be apparent, even covering what colors and looks best suit each person’s onscreen image.

The workshop pinpoints in a positive way each student's assets and challenges. The heart of this course is the heightened self-esteem that comes with the increased awareness of one's own strengths. With this foundation, students sharpen skills to perform well in a wide range of situations -- job interviews, the workplace, social interaction, in front of groups -- with ease and creativity.

Not only is the Acting on Camera Workshop a challenging and exhilarating experience -- but we can also guarantee that each student will come away with deepened self-knowledge.
